Montezuma KS electrician on power line poleThere are several options to receive electrician instruction in a trade or technical school near Montezuma KS. You can choose a diploma or certificate program, or earn an Associate Degree. Bachelor’s Degrees are obtainable at certain schools, but are not as prevalent as the first three alternatives. Frequently these programs are offered combined with an apprenticeship, which are required by the majority of states to be licensed or if you intend to become certified. Bellow are brief descriptions of the 3 most typical programs offered.

  • Certificate and Diploma Programs are usually offered by Kansas trade and technical schools and take approximately a year to complete. They furnish a solid foundation and are geared towards individuals who wish to get into an apprenticeship faster as a journeyman electrician.
  • Associate Degrees involve 2 years to finish and are provided by Kansas junior or community colleges, usually as an Associate Degree in Electrical Technology. They offer a more well-rounded education while providing the foundation that readies students to enter into their apprenticeship program.
